Finished an oldie but goodie

Yes, this is from the 2005 JCS ornament issue and I started it back then too. The one over one was hard for me. Some parts look fine, others, I just tried. I finished it off with a gold and green ribbon and a tassel I made myself. By Jane Timmers on linen, I believe. : )

The glue is visible as I wanted to share tonight as tomorrow will be a busy one for me.
Thought I'd show you my ornament tree that I lovingly put up each year. I made 8 of the ornaments and a few were gifts. The above new one isn't in this photo:

Poinsettia Pocket Ornmanet

I'm back to stitching ornaments again, and on a poinsettia kick. Have scoured all my JCS Ornament Special Issues looking for the charts, here is the first one to be stitched. It went quick! I just started it yesterday evening, and now it's done. The designer is Samplers and Such, and it appeared in the 2005 JCS special issue.

My January Ornaments

This is a late post of the 2 ornaments I stitched last month. The first is the 2005 JCS Olde Colonial Ornament.

I am waiting on the frame and charm to finish.

The second is a freebie from Kreinik:

With My Needle JCS Ornament Issue Designs (Adana)

These are the With My Needle JCS ornament issue designs from 2004-2005-2006. I have three of the five pieces in this series stitched as I still have the 2003 design and the additional design from 2006. These are a really quick stitch and I'm doing mine on Belfast linen with Threadgatherers Silk n Colors 'In The Reds'.

The pieces in the issues and that I've stitched are as follows:
2003 - A Needleworker's Pocket
2004 - Christmas Swan Needlebook (top left)
2005 - A Quaker Scissors Sheath (right side)
2006 - Quaker Pinkeep and Scissor Weight (scissor weight- bottom left)
