I have been a bad, bad blogger, and haven't been updating any of my ornie stitching so far this year - while I haven't actually done one per month, I have managed 10 ornie finishes so far, so technically up-to-date (albeit by accident not planning). Here are all the ornies I have completed so far this year:

Last ornaments for 2008 (plus one more)
Merry Christmas....thanks to everyone for all the beautiful ornaments which provided me with unlimited inspiration and which kept me motivated through the entire year. It has been a lot of fun. I managed to make most of what I set out to make. I still have one photo left to post from 2008 but the recipient must first receive it !
Cozy Christmas Wishes by Lizzie Kate which I modified a bit, changing some colors and adding my sister's name to the mug... The original Freebie chart can be found here.

This is a chart from a freebie site that Patty posted, full of lovely French designs. I chose to do this little windmill from booklet Sajou104

Wanted!
Lizzie*Kate Snippet from 2002
Stitched on 28 count linen using DMC threads
Stitched by Megan in Sydney, Australia
Although I finished the cross stitching for 5 more ornaments, I haven't got them finished into ornaments in time for this Christmas. I'm going to try to discipline myself to work on them over the next few weeks so that I know that they'll be done for 2009!

Better Late than Never !!

Hi all. I completed my May 2008 Ornie today. lol I was working on Angel of Hope for the past few months and am behind in my ornies, but now I can catch up. This little one is a Lizzie Kate design. I used a Christmas tree charm instead of stitching the tree. Now on to June ornie which will probably be another Lizzie Kate design.
Freebie found here.

Finishing? What's that?
I've made peace with being one of the world's slowest stitchers, but I really need to conquer my non-finishing tendencies. I've been on an Ornament Campaign, and I've finished a fair amount for me, but I haven't finished any of them. Sigh -- story of my life!

St. Ruth's Designs Christmas Cottage from JCS 1998 (I'm pretty certain it was 1998). Done in DMCs on opalascent lugana.

LK "Faith" in DMCs on Wichelt's "Summer Sky" hand-dyed jobelan.

I think this is a LK pattern, but I was going by a picture so I'm not sure. If you can lend any knowledge, I'd be grateful.

part of a larger design from a bok I can't find now -- one of those big books of Christmas patterns

JABC's Jingle All the Way

Elizabeth Designs Christmas house form one of the JCSes - might have been last year's even.

part of a larger design from a British stitching magazine

Charland's wonky tree from last year's JCS in Belle Soie over-dyed silk on natural linen. And, an "edited" and beaded LK from last year's JCS.
And, drum roll please, the only ornie I've finished so far this year ---

From Gift of Stitching magazine.
As you can probably guess, any finishing catalysts would be greatly appreciated. lol

June ornament "Peace" - my first one!
Yes, Pirjo has made her first contribution. I wanted to try something new (my friend loves blue!) and I used DMC 4220 for the hanging ornament (a bellpull?). The other one is more traditional and for a card.
This is a freebie by Lizzie Kate.
