I didn't realise that this weekend was the SAL but luckily I had already finished this beauty last week. I changed all the colours to make it more tree-like!
Joyeux Noel The Cat's Whiskers Thread: DMC Fabric: Metallic belfast linen From the 2007 JCS Christmas Ornament edition
This is Cherished Stitches' Colonial Christmas Ornament from the 2007 JCS ornament edition. It's a three-sided ornament and I finished it off with ribbon and a bell.
I haven't posted for a while but thought I'd share this last ornament with you all. I do have one other which is stitched and not finished but since it's now 5.30pm on Saturday, I don't think it will be finished before Christmas. So this will be it for me for 2007. Merry Christmas everyone!
Holly Days Stocking (I left off the backstitched "Holly Days") by Mill Hill
I'm not sure if this is my July or August ornament but it's another one for the finished pile. I just did a quick count of my ornaments for this year & I've done 11 already! Maybe I should stop???
Holiday Holly Mill Hill Stitched on 28ct evenweave
Looks like I've fallen a little behind! I was so busy finishing off my Wool Gatherer that I couldn't manage an ornament. So I did it last weekend and here is the result.
Be Merry Designer: Shepherd's Bush Fabric: 32ct Dirty Linen Threads: WDW, GAST, DMC & Wisper
I'm a little early because I thought the ornament SAL was last weekend! So I suppose now I can stitch another one. This is Brightneedle's To Thee Hope from the 2006 JCS ornament edition.
This is Thistle Threads, Let it Snow from the 2006 JCS ornament edition. I really like the idea of these stitching cards but it got a bit worn & a little creased by the time I'd finished stitching on it! Now I just have to work out what I'm going to do with the other card that came in the pack. :)
Although it wasn't much of an effort! :) I thought I'd finish this into a tiny stuffed ornament. As it only took me an hour to stitch, I've started another ornament for this month. The new one will be Twisted Threads Let It Snow but that one won't be finished for a couple of weeks as I haven't got the Kreinik braid for it yet. So...enough babbling, here's the pic:
Yay..I'm in! It's a long weekend here in Australia (Friday being the holiday) so I took advantage of it to stitch this ornament. It's Winter's Eve by Country Cottage Needleworks.
