May Ornies (the final stage)

Better late than never:

A Debbie Mumm kit for Dimensions called Christmas Adornments.

I did not get much stitching done on the actual SAL weekend and once I did get some stitching done, I decided to just get it done because I can not stand having unfinished projects laying about. My rule of thumb is one project at a time.

March ornie (in progress)

These ornies are from a Debbie Mumm kit. There are 12 altogether in the package. This photo shows how far I got during the last week of March before I switched back to my stocking project. These ornies need the french knots, back stitching and the cutting out from the plastic canvas to be completed which will be done for the April SAL.

My second February ornament

This is my second February ornament.
It's Little Green Tree, from Bent Creek,
of the leaflet #4013 "The Christmas Collection".
I have used DMC Variations 4200 for the red, 4070 for the lighter green, 4140 for the brown, and the solid 935 for the darkest green.
I've also applied three Shelley's buttons.

It was very quick to be stitched, and I have realized it yesterday; today I've quilted it.

The back fabric is a Mumm Cozy Northwest Christmas Flannel Wildlife Silhouettes on Red Check.

You can see the front and the back of the ornament.

My ornament

Hi, all!
I got an early start this week, so I finished mine Saturday morning. Pattern is by Debbie Mumm. This year I am determined to finish ornaments as I go and instead of doing a finishing-marathon in December. :)

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone else's ornaments!

My first finish of 2007

Hello girls,
thi is my first finish of the new year: I stitched Britty Puppy Christmas, from Brittercup Designs.
It has been published in the 2006 JCS Ornament issue, and it it the companion of Britty Kitty Christmas I have already stitched.
I used a cream linen, DMC threads for the silhouette and the sock, GAST threads for the hat and the heart.

I have completed the needlework on Friday 12th and quilted it on Sunday; the fabric is a Debbie Mumm Home Fires Winter/Holiday.
You can see the front and the back of the ornament.
Now I have to decide my next ornie!
