The list of stitchers has really grown and I just wanted to say thank you all for signing up! Could you check I've got your names and blogs right and let me know if you want anything changed please?
Just to remind you that anyone can join at any time and there's no obligation to stitch a whole ornament each month. We all know how busy life can be! However, if you decide not to carry on at all please let me know so I can remove your name from the links.
Is anyone planning their first ornament yet? Feel free to post to let us know what you're thinking of stitching. I have a list of about 40 to decide from!

I'm ready to go! I'm starting with the first square of Prairie Schooler's 12 Days of Christmas - I'm actually going to stitch it this weekend, so that I can get all 12 done in time for next Christmas. Looking forward to stitching with everyone this year :)
I am so happy to be part of this group. Yes, I have decided my January ornament, it will be a M Massey Noel heart. Happy new year and looking forward to see everyone christmas ornament.
I'm going to be starting with the Ink Circles Christmas Ornament. It will be my first time with 40 count fabric.
I'm glad to be doing this SAL! Every year, I make a big list of ornaments that I want to complete...and so far don't have much to show for it! I think that my first will be to finish up the M Designs "Peace Tree Ornament" from the JCS Ornament issue from a few years back.
I think my first ornament will be a freebie designed by another blogger (Christine of Coffee Cup Thoughts). It's called "Geometric Snowflake". I'd better get to kitting it up so I'm ready to go!
I was just thinking about that tonight! I have picked out a few favourites, so we'll see what I end up stitching on the first weekend.
We've got a great group here!
I'm probably going to do the Workbasket's reindeer from the last issue of JCS ornaments next month.
I think I might do one of the PS Santas. :)
Thanks for putting so much work into this! :-) It will be a blast. I'm also planning on starting my first one this weekend so I don't have to do one next December if I don't want to. I'm planning on one of the two Topiary Ornaments from Hillside Samplings that I have.
I would love to be part of this, but I suspect that my work (weekend) schedule may play havoc with my SAL time. I am currently working on a series of ornaments that were inspired by a picture I saw in the Better Homes and Gardens Stitching shop part of a Christmas magazine. The design is cobbled together from various BHG publications and I will post photos on my blog as soon as they are done!
I still haven't decided, but I have some ideas. I am excited to do this too :D
Wow it sure is an impressive list. I haven't decided what will be my first project yet. I guess I better get my thinking cap on.
Thanks so much for all your efforts in organising this Nicki :)
Wow, look at that list of participants - it's awesome!! It just needed someone to kickstart everyone :D I've got oodles to choose from this month, but I'll make a final decision next week :)
I've been working on Chessie & Me's ornament from the JCS 2004 magazine! I am 1/2 way done!
